Treasury Officer - Part time, Trafford

Treasury officer job opportunity - part time - reporting into the treasury accountant.

Your new organisation
A well established housing association that operate across the North West are looking to appoint a part time treasury officer to support the Treasury Accountant. This is a part time hours working 21 hours a week and will be based out of their modern offices in Trafford.

Your new job
As a treasury office you will assist with the day to day running of treasury and projects department ensuring timely processing of all financial transactions and reconciliations. Your duties will include completing quarterly VAT returns for the housing association and its subsidiaries, preparing bank reconciliations for all of the bank accounts, assisting the treasury accountant in the preparation of annual accounts, overseeing CIA taxation and on going reconciliations of the varying balance sheet accounts. You will work 21 hours a week which can undertaken on the days of your choice however some flexibility must be given around month end.


What you'll need to succeed
The finance manager is looking to appoint an experienced finance assistant / officer who is competent in undertaking reconciliations work and processing CIS. You must demonstrate good organisation skills as you will be responsible for delivering the quarterly VAT submissions to strict deadlines. AAT or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous with your application.
