Product Specialist - Tax

Your new role

This role will give the successful individual the opportunity to work as a Product and Implementation specialist for their clients. Keep responsibilities are as follows;

Pre-sales

* Support the sales team in software demonstrations to prospective clients
* Assist in the preparation of client proposals
* Work closely with the sales team to accurately understand customer needs
* Assist the sales team in achieving challenging sales targets

Work in partnership with new clients to ensure the successful implementation of our tax software including:

* Reviewing the client's current tax reporting process and proposing processes improvements to rationalise, streamline and better control the process
* Assisting in the planning of the process and technology changes with the client
* Organising and conducting training sessions
* Assisting the client in the setup and configuration of the software
* Liaising with technical specialists as required to setup and configure the software
* Initial post implementation support to ensure the client's users successfully use and accept the technology
* Managing client expectations regarding time investment

Support for existing clients:

* Support/help desk for more complex tax technical queries
* Liaison with clients regarding product upgrades, including refresher training
* Consulting work around the implementation of tax technology products, using other tools to develop models, calculations, process improvements to produce fully automated and integrated end to end tax solutions (e.g. automated tax journal posting)

Product Development:

* Ad-hoc assistance with product development design, testing and documentation
* Proactively contribute ideas to the ongoing improvement of our software products

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally Corporate Tax Reporting gained from within a professional services or in-house tax function.
