VAT Supervisor job based in Edinburgh

Privately owned, they are growing and need a VAT specialist to join their Edinburgh team.

Your new role

As VAT supervisor you will be responsible for leading a team, within this varied role you will collate and review data and review returns prepared by the team. You will also undertake all aspects of people management and be a key point of contact for internal stakeholder and external stakeholders such as HMRC.

What you'll need to succeed

With experience gained in either financial services or an accountancy firm you will be ACCA / CIMA / ATT or CTA qualified or have equivalent experience. In addition you will have a proven track record in a VAT role. Knowledge of current legislation is a must as are excellent communication skills.
