Our client a Big 4 Firm is seeking a tax manager in their international assignment services department.
Job Description &Responsibilities
Supervising staff in the preparation and filing of US, HK and / or PRC individual tax returns
Managing client engagements and developing client relationships
Dealing with enquiries from Inland Revenue Department and Internal Revenue Service
Advising on individual tax efficiency planning
Handling personal tax audit and investigation
Assisting in performing tax compliance reviews, tax costs projection and preparing written advice
Advising employers on tax and immigration issues for mobile employees
Requirements
A recognised degree or equivalent
Qualified member of a professional accounting body
Minimum five to eight years of relevant experience is required
Knowledge in US, HK and / or PRC tax laws
Strong leadership ability
Flexible and open minded
An ability to think creatively and a thirst for knowledge
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in spoken or written Chinese is an advantage
