French VAT Compliance Manager, European VAT Consultancy, Southeast, UK

Our client is a European VAT Consultancy in the UK and due to success over recent years, they are looking to consolidate their position in the market through the addition of an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager to take a leading role in their well-established compliance team.
With an international focus and a client base that stretches across Europe, this is an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to a breadth of indirect tax projects across multiple jurisdictions.

In order to take advantage of this opportunity, you will be a native French speaker and have a breadth of VAT Compliance experience across French speaking jurisdictions (Knowledge of France's VAT compliance process would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite).
You will be responsible for managing a team of VAT compliance experts and supporting clients with VAT demands/ issues in Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Switzerland. As Manager of this team, you will be the key point of contact for a number of clients. A strong commercial client handling skill-set is required in order to continue building on existing relationships as well as establishing new clients.
