About the Opportunity
A Senior Tax Manager is now being sought by a boutique tax practice in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity in which the qualified professional will review federal, state and city income tax returns for individuals, trusts, S- Corporations and partnerships. In addition, he or she will review income tax projectionsand prepare quarterly estimated tax projections.

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Manage workflow and staff; monitoring their performance and productivity
Development and retention of staff
Evaluations and performance discussions
Hold weekly team meetings
Client advisement and guidance throughout the year
Correspondence with clients via e-mail, telephone, and meetings
Interact with state and local jurisdictions in resolving controversies
Tax research
Review of financial statements and other special projects such as various schedules or analyses at clients' request for income tax and estate planning purposes
Federal and state audits and income tax notices
Other ad hoc requests
Participation in certain committee groups and in internal trainings for the firm
Required Skills
5+ years of experience
Prior work in High Net Worth tax
Excellent leadership skills
