Tax Manager - Real Estate

Brewer Morris has partnered with a Real Estate Group to search for a Tax Manager to join the tax team in Central London.

This organisation is one of the market leaders in the real estate sector and has been awarded for being one of the best places to work. You will report to the Head of Tax and build relationships across the tax and finance function, the advisors, and investors.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Support your team in managing and preparing the UK tax compliance of parts of the Group as a whole, including a portfolio of wholly owned and joint venture companies.
* Assist with the year-end and half-year reporting cycles and liaise with the external auditors.
* Update and monitor REIT dividend forecast, identifying when action needs to be taken.

* Manage external advisors, seeking input and advice where necessary
* Manage tax aspects of structured deals including tax data room input, tax due diligence process and tax review of legal documentation

* Assist and develop your knowledge on indirect tax matters (VAT, SDLT, CIS).

To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with UK corporate tax with some real estate/property tax exposure. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential. You do not need prior REIT experience.

This opportunity will pay up to £75,000 base plus 25% bonus. You will be supported by an excellent team, gain exposure to the broader finance function, and the ability to see your work implemented in the business. The team follow a 3 day hybrid working model as team culture is highly valued in this organisation.
