We are seeking an experienced UK Real Estate Tax Manager, to manage the Tax affairs of an overseas headquartered Real Estate/Property investment and management business. This role will be standalone in the UK and requires you to cover the compliance duties of the group's UK entities, but also be fully involved in the tax aspects of all UK acquisitions and disposals of this very active business.
This role requires someone technically strong and also broadly exposed to real estate/property tax issues, including Corporate Tax, VAT, SDLT, CIS, CGT. Knowledge of LLP/Partnership taxation and the rules around property investment by overseas individuals/companies would also be welcomed.
This is a new role, driven by the growth of the group's UK operations. It requires someone who is organised with self discipline and experience as the Head of Finance/Tax is overseas and also works on a number of new deals concurrently, so they will not be available at all times for consultation. The quid pro quo of that is that you can set your own timetable, delivering work to agreed deadlines but in the way that suits your life, i.e. with an attractive home/office balance.
