Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager --- US Multinational Company --- Dublin or other locations across Europe

Our client, a global multinational & leader in its field, is looking to appoint a Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager. This newly-created role will suit an experienced VAT expert with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. The position is ideally based in Dublin, but other locations across Europe are also a definite possibility.

The Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager will take ownership of the global VAT & GST activities of the group position, managing global VAT compliance (outsourced to a third party), working on new business model implementation, process improvement & VAT automation projects, dealing with global VAT planning, audits, controversy and M&A work.

You must already have strong business partnering skills as you will be the key point of contact to the US team and deal with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.

This role will suit an experienced VAT professional operating at Manager / Senior Manager level either in industry or in a major accountancy / law firm. The role needs someone with a good understanding of automated processes and with an interest / experience in digital sales / digital economy / cloud-based / tech businesses. Fluency in English is a must.
