This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and leading local practice based in Somerset, Taunton who are looking for a Personal Tax Director or Personal Tax Senior Manager.

Working closely with the Tax Partners and fellow Directors / Senior Managers, you will help lead the Taunton and Firm wide Tax team whilst also delivering an exceptional Personal Tax service to a client portfolio.

With control over a significant and varied client portfolio, you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance and client deadlines are adhered to whilst also providing tax planning and advisory services to your clients.

As a Private Client Tax Director / Personal Tax Director you will work alongside the partners you will play an important role in assisting with tax planning projects such as non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts (and other structures) and, capital gains and inheritance tax issues.

Building and maintaining client relationships will be a key facet of the position so a personable and professional manner is a pre-requisite as is prior client management experience. Staff management experience is also required as you will be responsible for delegation of work and reviewing tax returns completed by other members of team.

Skills:

CTA / ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Previous experience operating at Senior Manager / Director
Previous experience including IHT, CGT and trust experience
