In-house Direct Tax Manager, London (Canary Wharf), to £85k + bonus

A newly created role has arisen in a highly reputable group based in Canary Wharf. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will have the support of 4 tax accountants and have management responsibility for two of them. With the support of your team, you will ensure compliance obligations are met and processes are working at optimal efficiency. You will also be preparing calculations for returns under the corporate interest restriction, reviewing schedules for quarterly reporting to shares holders and providing support to the Head of Tax on advisory and transaction based projects.

This is a role where there is scope to develop and get involved more in advisory work to take on a number 2 role to the Head of Tax. You will be a strong accountant with solid UK corporate tax experience. You will be operating at experienced Manager / Senior Manager level and ideally have previous in-house experience although this isn't required if your professional services experience demonstrates experience in tax accounting and compliance.
