Indirect Tax Analyst, FTSE 100, South London, to £65k + bens

A FTSE 100 infrastructure organisation is looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst to support the indirect Senior Indirect Tax Manager on all indirect tax matters, ensuring that this company is compliant with UK tax legislation and meets all tax reporting requirements. Undertake project work relating to key tax areas as directed by the tax managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of scheduled and ad-hoc assurance work on employment tax and VAT risk areas under the guidance of the Senior Indirect Tax Manager
• Review and analyse information provided by finance and other departments to support business decision making and provide recommendations.
• Support with the production of and completion of the VAT return and other indirect tax returns
• Support the Senior Indirect Tax Manager on systems work – including the configuration and implementation of new systems from a tax perspective
• Prepare material to enable delivery of education and training to business functions and maintaining visibility of indirect taxes across the group
• Advise the business on ad-hoc tax queries with guidance from the Senior Indirect Tax Manager where necessary

Key requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified
• Knowledge of indirect taxation or direct taxation with a willingness to develop in the other discipline
• Well organised to be able to meet tight statutory deadlines
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Able to work as part of a team
