The client base of this team has grown significantly over recent years; there is considerable real estate tax work sourced both from the traditional corporate tax client base and from wins from other areas of the firm. Given this, the successful candidate will have a lot of work to get their teeth in to and progress on.
The team offers considerable Manager and Senior Manager support; your role will be focused on working closely with the client to ensure timely project delivery and you will be the trusted real estate adviser, able to recognise and navigate bumps in the road both on day to day real estate tax advisory but also on transactions for institutional and entrepreneurial real estate clients.
To apply, you must have some pure real estate tax experience gained from a professional services organisation; some experience from in house will also be valuable. Ideally, you will have expertise on structuring real estate transactions, capital allowance advisory, capital gains advisory and stamp duty. You will have worked with all stakeholders; developers, investors and occupiers and have in-depth technical knowledge of all areas of real estate tax.
You must also be able to demonstrate team leading and management capabilities as you will be leading a number of client and transaction focused teams.
In return for your hard work and knowledge you will receive a very competitive salary and benefits package and the training and support you need to progress within the firm. You will be surrounded by tax professionals who are technically very strong and client focused; you work will be varied, interesting and exciting.
