Your new company
My client is a successful Construction and Housing business based in Central Essex. They are looking to recruit a new Group Tax Manager as the current incumbent is due to retire in the coming months. As such they are looking for an experienced and qualified tax manager to pick up the reigns and lead the tax department.

Your new role
With the support of the wider finance team, you will be fully responsible for the tax affairs of the group. Responsibilities will range from CT compliance management, managing relationships with HMRC and external advisors as well as taking ownership for VAT and employment tax issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified ACCA / ACA / CTA / CIOT. You will have previously held a Tax Manger position within either commerce or practice and have in depth exposure to Corporation Tax, VAT and regulatory compliance. You will need to have excellent communication skills in order to liaise with clients accordingly, in a friendly and open manner.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £75,000 plus benefits (25 days holiday + bank holidays, bonus and up to 12% combined pension). There is also on-site parking.
