A career enhancing opportunity has arisen with our client, a progressive and global Law Firm, set in fantastic offices in the heart of the City. They are seeking a Global Mobility Manager who will play an integral part in the organisation. The company has recently undergone growth and transformation which means there is ample opportunity to shape and develop the existing mobility programme, expanding it across to new countries, and there is scope to introduce creative and innovative ideas to drive the Mobility function forwards.
You will become the subject matter expert for the firm, and as a result of this, you will need to be a confident communicator to stakeholders across all levels of the business. You will develop and maintain relationships with existing third party providers, as well as reviewing and approving contracts with local vendors. You will get the opportunity to develop a programme to allow candidates to self-identify desire for assignment and match this with the needs of the firm. Alongside these responsibilities, you will also manage the BAU of the end-to-end assignee lifecycle, supporting the assignees throughout the relocation process. You will not need to be tax qualified for this role, but having an understanding of this is necessary as you will be required to provide cost projections and estimations to the business and communicate effectively with the third party provider. You will also keep abreast of industry changes to GM policy and ensure a consistent ongoing review of the firms existing GM policies and procedures.
You will have prior expertise in Mobility, Compensation &/or Benefits and ideally Immigration across at least EMEA and any US experience would be desirable. Having a strong knowledge and understanding of the immigration process in the UK/EUA is advantageous and experience using cost of living indices from consultancies is preferred. This role would suit an individual who is a confident communicator, detail oriented and proactive.
