International Tax Manager (6 month contract), London

Brewer Morris is working with a global insurance business to recruit an experienced international Tax Manger to join the business on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. This role would be open to experienced interim professionals, or have the potential to go permanent if that was of interest to the successful candidate.

The role will see someone provide advice on tax matters across a number of European countries, and take full ownership of the compliance, reporting and advisory tax work for those jurisdictions. A key part of the role will be coordinating the 2019 tax returns of the European entities. Other work will include:

* Internal reporting / tax accounting
* Tax-true up calculations
* Preparation of transfer pricing reports
* Inter-company trading transactions
* Calculation of tax figures for reporting
* Preparation of current and deferred tax notes

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in tax accounting, reporting and compliance. It would be helpful if someone has experience in the insurance industry and that they have worked in an international focused role.
