Tax Manager (Global Media), West London, Up to £75k plus generous package and bonus

One of the world’s most well-known but least recognisable media businesses are searching for a Tax Manager to fill a newly created requirement.

As part of an on-going finance transformation programme, the group are in-housing their tax function and have recently appointed a Head of Tax (FTSE-100 background) and an indirect tax manager. This role will complete the trifecta, acting as SME for all direct tax matters.

The business has established operations in 21 jurisdictions and is currently expanding in LATAM and APAC – you will be responsible for liaising with external advisors and tax authorities to ensure the business maintains uniform tax accounting standards globally. You will also be responsible for:

- Managing directly the UK and EMEA tax compliance process, assessing current practice and ensuring best practice
- Managing the group’s tax risk and exposure
- Advice on UK and international tax implications for business operations
- Providing tax advice within the on-going transformation programme

Ideal profile (but by no means definitive):

- ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified with in-house corporate/international tax experience
- Experience of being involved in a full tax accounting cycle
- Good international tax experience (TP, WHT, BEPS etc.)
