Our client is a global multinational with a highly acquisitive approach to expanding its operations. The Transfer Pricing team sits within the broader Tax Planning Group and as such, is extremely visible due to working closely with the broader leadership. You will be in regular communication with transfer pricing team members located outside of the U.S, international finance/legal teams and key business stakeholders on all aspects of developing, implementing, testing and defending robust global TP policies.
A newly created role now exists for an experienced Assistant Manager/Junior Transfer Pricing Manager to join the team in Chicago. Reporting directly to the Global TP leader, you will work on a broad variety of projects ranging from M&A support and restructuring, TP planning, controversy/audit defence and global documentation. The very nature of working for a multinational requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of transfer pricing - no day is the same, making a move from an accountancy firm hugely appealing to professionals seeking a dynamic change in environment.
Candidates will possess approximately 4-6 years professional experience in either an advisory/accounting firm or large multinational. Technical experience will be varied and you will need to be well versed in controversy management (IRS and/or HMRC), APAs and building strong client relationships across all levels of seniority.
