Partnership Tax Assistant - Broad technical exposure ideal for CTA students
London to £35,000 + Benefits
As we head deeper into specialisation, it has become harder for juniors to gain the exposure to a wide range of tax technical work necessary to pass the CTA, as well as to help decide what to focus on at a later date. This role is unusual in that it offers the opportunity to advise both the individual and the corporate entity. The clients are large professional partnerships/LLPs, the partners and corporate businesses based both in the UK and internationally.
Working as part of this well established and highly successful team, you will be responsible for the compliance work which arises on your portfolio of clients. In addition, you will be encouraged to get involved in advisory work whilst being supported by your more experienced team mates, enabling you to develop your technical knowledge.
You will be encouraged and supported to continue your CTA studies whilst also developing your wider skill set - delegating and reviewing, developing professional relationships with clients and networking with colleagues etc.
The firm is looking at an ATT qualified tax assistant with a minimum of 18 months'+ pure tax experience in either personal or corporate tax. You should already be sufficiently technically competent to handle a basic portfolio, but keen to stretch yourself with a commitment to technical and personal development. In return the firm will ensure that you are exposed to a terrifically broad range of the highest quality clients, both domestic and international, as well as ensuring you have access to a range of training techniques and working with some of the best experts in the field.
