FTC International Product Tax Specialist

This European Investment Bank has a unique 12-month fixed term contract position to join their Head of tax in London.

The role will see you taking the lead ideally across transactional tax matters and transfer pricing and having key engagement across the business.

Key aspects of the role

* Tax risk assessments and implementing procedures and policies
* International taxes - withholding taxes, BEPS, AEOI
* Transfer Pricing - documentation - review and implementation of policies and procedures
* Bank levy matters
* Double tax treaties
* New activity products

The essential aspect of this role is your understanding of banking products and services for both corporate and investments from a corporate tax perspective. The business has a wide range of offerings from credit, fixed income and securitisation products through to debt optimisation and international trade. The other side of this role is having genuine transfer pricing documentation and tax risk assessment experience.

The team is small and therefore whilst not guaranteed this role could become permanent at the end of the 12 months should you wish.

Whilst professional qualification such as CTA/ ACA would be highly desirable, this is not essential if you have genuine technical ability within Corporate and international taxes.

The role is to start as soon as possible; however, they want to make the right hire so would potentially wait 2-3 months for you to start.
