Your new role
This accountant job is responsible for supporting the UK financial controller in managing the overall statutory accounting & tax compliance for all entities, which also incorporates extensive cross border project work. This accountant job is also focused on developing, documenting and implementing standardised processes for all UK & Overseas compliance work monthly, ensuring the right process & controls are in place.

The role reports to the Financial Controller, however operates in a matrix environment and as such there will be "dotted-line" interactions with multiple stakeholders, particularly with the regional financial team.

What you'll need to succeed
This accountant job includes financial compliance, statutory accounting and tax, and as such being qualified within either ACA, ATT or CTA will be considered. Experience working in a global environment with international business, with an understanding of tax would be extremely beneficial for this role. However, given this position is not your typical accountant job, having the ability to know the right questions to ask with the confidence to ask them, is paramount to succeed in this job. Strong excel is also a must.
