Leading Wealth Management business looking to recruit a Tax Adviser for their Central London team.

Your new role

The tax team sit beside our wealth management team providing a holistic and bespoke service to our clients.

You will manage your own portfolio of personal clients, dealing with all areas of the tax compliance and tax planning.

This will involve:

* Researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation in the UK;
* Meeting with clients and collating information;
* Working with tax law and revenue provisions;
* Preparing and submitting individual returns by the deadline;
* Liaising and negotiating with HMRC on behalf of the client;
* Creating tax strategies for personal clients and planning their financial futures;
* Carrying out detailed computations to calculate tax liability and advising on how to minimise a client's liability;
* Establishing and structuring trusts;
* Estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters;
* Advising on and implementing remuneration strategies, tax efficient share and option schemes and exit strategies;
* Producing reports and presentations for clients;
* Developing junior members of staff
* Reviewing the work of other members of the team

What you'll need to succeed:

* CTA qualified.
* Over 5 years' previous experience in a tax/accountancy firm.
* Experience of dealing with a wide range of personal tax planning.

Additionally:

* Experience of managing your own portfolio of clients.
* Must have strong technical abilities and convey credibility.
* Must be able to clearly explain complex tax issues to colleagues and clients.
* Must be able to take ownership and manage their own workflow with minimal input from management, set their own goals and plan how to achieve them.
* Must be presentable to a wide range of clients.
* Must appreciate the demands of working within an ever-growing business. This will at times involve taking on unfamiliar tasks and managing large workloads.
