Expatriate Tax Advisor

Following a long period of sustained growth, this successful boutique firm is looking to welcome an additional member to its team.

The ideal person will have circa 2 years’ tax experience, either from an expatriate or personal tax background, who wants to pursue a career in expat going forwards. There is an option to learn US tax too if you haven’t had exposure to it already, although this is not compulsory. Each client is given a high touch service and key to the success of the business is the precision work and excellent relationships that the team build and foster. There will be a lot of client contact from day one, and a bespoke approach for each client is taken that best suits that client’s needs. Their client base covers the whole of the UK including London and the South East, as well as Europe, the US and beyond, so there is never a dull day at the office. A friendly team player who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get involved will fit right in.

It is a largely compliance role, although there is scope to get involved in advisory work as you further develop your tax skills. You will also have the opportunity to manage and mentor the team apprentice.

There is lots of scope for progression here if you want it, both in terms of experience and career. The firm offers study support for the ATT for those wishing to pursue a professional qualification, although this is not mandatory.

There are no sales targets and no timesheets. Everyone is trusted to work diligently and honestly and in a mutually supportive manner.

The office isn’t easily accessible by public transport, so a car is highly recommended for your journey to and from work.
