Our client is one of the most prestigious and successful firms in Liverpool and we are seeking a professional and ambitious Personal Tax Manager to join a talented and highly acclaimed team based in the North West.
Your new role
Joining a successful existing team this role will strengthen the firms portfolio and your job will be to help grow and deliver a 'best in class' service for personal tax. Your new role will
* Collate information in order to enable the preparation and submission to HMRC of clients Tax Returns and calculation of tax liabilities accordingly
* Provide advice to clients and managers regarding all tax related matters, to include interaction with complex financial structures as appropriate
* Efficient client handling by means of correspondence, telephone conversations, e-mails and/or at meetings
* Liaise with colleagues to relay or provide technical information and general advice as required
* Plan and manage chargeable time effectively in order to achieve and meet critical deadlines. Regularly review work in progress and debtor control relating to own client portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience of working in a similar role and ideally be qualified CTA , ACA or ACCA or be working towards qualification. You will possess the desire to deliver a seamless service to clients and be able to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a wider team. Your communication skills will be vital in order to maintain and enhance current and new client relationships and you must be able to work to and meet deadlines.
