Summary

The Group Tax department has expanded significantly in the last few years. To provide further support to the Group tax function, and enhance proactive engagement with local finance teams and outsourced service providers, we are searching for a strong advisory focussed International Tax Manager.

Support for M&A, financing and business-restructuring projects will also be required on an ad hoc basis. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your international tax experience and expertise, together with business and collaborating alongside local finance teams. The role will work closely with the Transfer Pricing and Group Reporting teams to ensure accurate and supportable outcomes in a diligent controls and governance environment

Essential Job Functions

* Business Unit partnering and agility to respond to a breadth of queries that face the Group Tax department
* Advising on all aspects of direct tax in relation to the relevant jurisdictions
* Assist in establishing operations in new geographies or restructurings as required
* Compliance and reporting oversight for the relevant jurisdictions
* Provide support to the Tax Group function outside of immediate responsibilities, as required

Requirements

* Professional certification (ideally ACA, CTA or ADiT)
* Preferably significant relevant tax experience gained in a top tier accountancy firm or similarly sized business
* Previous experience in a multinational in-house tax department would be a plus
* Strong experience in international tax and a working knowledge of transfer pricing
* Strong tax technical and knowledge of tax accounting skills across all areas of direct tax
* Experience in complex financing structures and/or M&A would be a significant
