Tax Manager - In-house (Central London)

I am currently recruiting for a in-house Tax Manager role for a Management Consultancy business based in Central London. This role is predominantly advisory, with oversight and review of the compliance and reporting elements - please see the detailed job description below.

* Advising on the most tax efficient structure for client engagements, working with the client as and when it is required on e.g. tax matters, legal and financial management.
* Supporting on developing tax planning proposals and obtaining the approval of leads for implementation.
* Coordinating with the Tax Director to support and keep informed the senior stakeholders on the implementation of local and global planning initiatives developed.
* Communicating complex tax concepts
* Advising legal and treasury on ways to manage risk and to maximize returns financially
* Supporting and providing direction on all tax matters
* Managing the input of external advisers
* Coordinating with the Tax Director to support the global leadership team in the successful implementation of global initiatives across EALA
* Working with other tax groups to coordinate in country tax planning
* Providing support on local tax controversy matters, in coordination with the Tax Director and the Tax Controversy Group.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised tax/accountancy qualification (ACA/CTA) with at least 4 years of corporate/international tax experience.
