The Real Estate team sits within the Transactions tax function at this Big 4 firm. The team is largely a transaction based team using its in-depth experience of UK and European planning and structuring to provide innovative solutions. As well as income taxes, the team provides advice on VAT, stamp duty land tax and capital allowances as well as environmental taxes and business rates.
Your new role
Specific work you will be involved in includes transaction structuring, UK property tax, structuring for UK and international property funds. You will advise on the structuring of limited partnerships and joint ventures, PFI/PPP projects, capital allowances, inbound, and outbound investments, property outsourcing and property securitisations.
What you'll need to succeed
As Real Estate Tax Manager, you will need proven experience of leading teams through complex assignments/projects as well as an ACA/CTA/ATT qualification. You must have the ability to apply technical tax skills to solve complex problems both in the UK and cross border, in a highly practical way, interacting with all levels of your clients' businesses.
