Senior Manager - FS M&A Tax - Edinburgh - £95, 000

A leading FS Tax Team based in Edinburgh are seeking a proactive Senior Manager to join their expanding transactions tax team. The team works on both local, national and international transactions for a mixture of Wealth & Asset Managers, Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Real Estate Fund clients.

The team has inspirational leadership, with wider responsibilities for Wealth & Asset Management Tax Services across the EMEIA. As a result, members of the Edinburgh team are given the option to work on cross-border projects and travel internationally. At present, the Edinburgh team has more than 30 people and is recruiting due to an expanding pipeline of work. Due to their growth, they will continue to add roles at all levels in the short and medium term, giving the opportunity for fast promotion.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
• Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach taken
• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for the firm and clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both the client and the firm.

The successful candidate will be ACA / CTA trained (or equivalent) and can build and maintain their client relationships with minimal oversight from Senior Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for fast promotion in an exciting and expanding team.
