Description
Joining as Tax Manager, the delivery side of your role will be focused on the provision of personal tax advice to a wide ranging client base of High Net Worth Individuals, Entrepreneurs and their families, Trusts, Landed Estates, and other clients. Alongside delivery on personal tax planning across IHT, CGT, trusts and other projects, you will drive the overall development of the firms tax department, mentoring staff, overseeing a quality compliance service delivered by the team, liaising with HMRC and taking a lead in the further growth of the firms tax offering, undertaking marketing and business development. There are excellent opportunities for career progression in addition as you carve a key position within this firm, working closely with partners.
Profile
You will be any of ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA / STEP qualified, with an accountancy practice, or specialist tax firm background, with a demonstrable specialism within private client / personal tax, at around tax manager, or senior manager levels. You will therefore be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with complex tax advisory and planning issues, across areas such as IHT, CGT, Trusts etc. In addition, you will ideally bring staff management and the ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably, along with an interest and ability to further grow and develop a firms tax department. You will be looking for a role with career progression and development potential, within a highly successful and well regarded accountancy practice firm.
Job Offer
£45,000 - £58,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits.
