Your new company
Trying to break into a top tier Practice after leaving University or College is a difficult task. One of my clients, a Top 10 Practice based in the heart of Guildford, are looking for talented, motivated and ambitious graduates or school leavers to join their award winning Private Client team in an apprentice capacity. Their client base is unrivalled in the area and is growing all the time. Full study support is provided for ACA or ATT and CTA qualifications as part of the combined qualification course.

Your new role
You will gain hands on practical experience, advising on tax efficient strategies or helping clients with financial planning whilst studying.

You will:

* Prepare of accounts and tax returns for basic trusts
* Prepare Repayment Claim Forms and basic Tax Returns for individuals
* Deal with correspondence from clients, HMRC and other third parties
* Advise clients of their forthcoming tax liabilities including writing to clients and 3rd parties where necessary
* Bill clients in a timely manner for the work we have carried out on their behalf
* Set up new clients and dealing with the disengagement of departing client

You will also be exposed to my clients excellent in-house training on tax compliance. There are several other soft skill courses that you are able to enrol on to continue your personal development.

What you'll need to succeed
If you are from university you will have at least a 2:2 qualification in a finance related degree, a 2:1 if your degree is non-finance related. You will have a minimum of B grade across your A-levels and at B grades in GCSE Maths and English. These A-level and GCSE requirement are also applicable to school/college leavers.

You will have great communication skills both written and verbal, be able demonstrate a desire to forge a career in tax, be ambitious, motivated and determined to succeed.
