Tax Manager (Leading Sports Team), London

A leading football organisation, based in London is currently searching for a Tax Manager. This is a newly created role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to own the group’s tax compliance processes.

Whilst being supported by the wider finance team, this will be a highly autonomous role, providing the successful candidate with full control over process management and usage of advisers.

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of the corporate tax compliance function, preparing and reviewing year end computations and ensuring they’re submitted in a timely manner
- Work alongside senior management on tax strategy and planning projects for the UK and international (predominantly EMEA region)
- Oversight of VAT compliance (Experience not essential)
- Advise on tax implications for the groups strategic decisions

Requirements:

- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with 1-3 years PQE
- A good background in UK corporation tax, with exposure to international tax highly beneficial
- The confidence to challenge ideas and liaise closely with senior management.
- In house experience would be beneficial but not necessary, interest in the sector would be beneficial
