This cutting-edge manufacturing company is looking to appoint a Global VAT Manager to join its well-respected tax department. This opportunity has come at an interesting time, for the business with many exciting projects in the pipeline.
The role will design the VAT group strategy, deal with VAT planning, work on many different types of projects & have regular interaction with business, supply chain and finance leaders to help solve their VAT issues.
The majority of the work will be VAT planning, advisory, audit and project work in EMEA. The role is part of a strong, global tax team handling a range of international projects.
Suitable candidates will have at least 6 years of EU VAT advisory experience. Some knowledge of accounting, systems (SAP) and compliance would be beneficial. Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Clear communication in English is essential, other languages are highly beneficial.
