Who we’re looking for
As an Associate you will be a member of CS Accounting providing Compliance Relationship Management (“CRM”). The CRM services are provided to a number of high profile clients. You will be part of a client facing team delivering project management, administrative, finance and research services. You will act as a key communication point between members of staff and partners in the UK and overseas teams and, on occasions, with the client directly.
You will be given the necessary coaching and training to develop your skills to enable you to fully meet the demands and needs of the role. In addition there is an opportunity to pursue external qualifications such as PRINCE2 and/or AAT (Accounting Technician).
CRM involves the coordination of annual Statutory Financial Statements (SFS) and Corporate Income Tax returns (CIT), prepared in country by local PwC teams, in order to provide the client with a global joined up solution.
The CRM team work alongside local teams to plan, monitor and control the SFS and CIT process.
The Associate role includes:
•Coordination / project management of the services provided by PwC teams in various global locations
•Communicating with local PwC teams who prepare the SFS and CIT return in-country
•Monitoring work in progress to ensure deadlines are adhered to
•Attendance at client calls / meetings as requested by senior team members
•Escalation of issues and challenges to senior team members
•Running and analysing reports from the firms project management solution tool creating client reports following review by senior team members
•Assist senior team members in monitoring time, expenses, costs and billing
•Assist in the administration of the firms Document Management System (DMS)
•Assist the team to comply with internal risk management policies and the billing process

Basic understanding of finance
Strong numeric and analytical skills
Able to work to deadlines and be flexible with regards to hours (as overtime may be required) as priorities may change at short notice
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise confidently and professionally at all levels
Efficient management of client documents, using paper and electronic filing
Qualifications and Key Experience:
GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Degree of 2:1 or above desirable
Email systems: Lotus Notes and Google
Microsoft packages : Excel and Word
Administration experience and being able to prioritise, be proactive and meet deadlines to deliver an excellent quality of service
