Who we are looking for
We have an opportunity for a bilingual (Japanese and English) Senior Associate to join our OneGM Japanese team in the London office. The focus of the Team is facilitating employer and employee compliance around Japanese expatriates - personal tax returns and associated services. This role is to focus on our Japanese clients hence the Japanese language requirement.

Operating as part of a dedicated group serving PwC client facing teams across the UK you will enjoy a rich variety of expatriate tax compliance challenges arising from an unrivalled client base.
About the role
Understanding client needs, identifying and pursuing consulting opportunities.
Interpreting and analysing remuneration data.
Interpreting and applying tax legislation in respect of tax return disclosure.
Dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients of varying size covering a variety of complex international tax affairs.
Assisting with managing client finances.
Communicating with internal client teams, both within the London and Regional UK Global Mobility practice.
Sharing technical and practical knowledge throughout the team.
Requirements
This role would suit individuals who are numerate, analytical, have good attention to detail and can speak Japanese. Applicants should have UK personal tax experience (preferably with some expatriate tax knowledge).
