Senior Tax Manager, Telecoms Group, London

A leading telecommunications group is currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to take broad responsibility of a UK based team. This role reports directly into the international Tax Director and will offer a large amount of autonomy and management responsibility. You will also be leading a team of 4, ensuring the tax function operates as efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing broad tax matters, including reviewing compliance computations, dealing with new and existing tax projects and dealing with existing and monitoring the impact of new tax legislation
- Ensuring smooth running of the tax function, alongside identifying cost saving measures within the group
- Working closely with international tax authorities, international teams and HMRC
- Working in cohesion with the tax director, and the rest of the finance team

Requirements:
- ACA/CTA qualified within a Big 4 practice alongside excellent understanding of tax accountancy under UK tax law
- Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence to required to manage a team
- An outstanding communicator, confident in liaising closely with a variety of teams and individuals
- International tax planning experience
