Our Client is a Global Apparel organisation listed in Asia with operations across Asia, Europe and North America. Based in North Carolina, this organisation is rapidly growing through strategic acquisitions and is looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to join this growing tax function.The Senior Tax Manager will be mentored by the US Tax Director for succession planning.
Working with the Global Head of Tax, based in London you will take responsibility for tax risk management, embedding processes and governance within the tax risk management framework that is aligned with the group's overall tax strategy.
* Coach, manage, and provide technical support to the various members of global tax team.
* Lead tax interaction with American businesses.
* Responsible for America's tax planning across federal, state, and indirect taxes.
* Advise the business/tax team/finance team on cross border and transfer pricing matters.
* Coordinate tax compliance with outside service providers.
* Manage internal and external resources to prioritize efficient, effective delivery of projects.
* Lead tax interaction on all America's business development and commercial transactions.
* Oversee US international tax compliance prepared by outsourcer.
* Promote achievement of global tax objectives including global planning and transaction support, and implementation of tax policies throughout the business.
* Recognize and understand tax risks and quantify these issues while developing strategies and plans to address these risks.
* Review contracts and recommend contracting structures.
* Partner with the Senior Director of Tax, external tax consultants and internal business leaders to identify strategies for tax efficient operations.

* Strong tax technical knowledge across broad range of taxes.
* International tax planning experience in a multinational or a tax advisory firm, preferred. * Strong financial modelling.
* Strong tax accounting knowledge.
* 10+ years of corporate tax experience preferred.
* Strong legal research and writing experience.
* 2+ years of tax M&A experience.
* Corporate and advisory experience, preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, or commensurate experience.
* CPA or Masters in Tax or JD, required.
