Head of Tax role at multinational infrastructure company in London, £120,000 + bonus + benefits.

This Spanish multinational company is one of the leaders in the design, construction, financing, and maintenance of transport, urban and services infrastructure. Being one of the largest publicly traded companies in Spain, this company has spread their influence across the globe, with a strong presence in the UK.
Your new role
You will report directly to and coordinate with the Group Head of International Tax & Transfer Pricing. As the Head of Tax for UK & Ireland, you will have overall responsibility for managing the company's tax affairs for the region. The role involves extensive involvement in tax governance, M&A and project activity. You will coordinate and liaise with the Global Tax Team, take responsibility for ensuring that Group policies and HR practices are tax compliant, and coordinate and oversee tax accounting and reporting. You will also monitor and manage tax risk including transfer pricing, amongst a host of other responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CTA, ACA, or equivalent), with vast experience in working in a Tax role in Practice or In-house. You will have extensive transaction, M&A and project tax experience, and experience of managing SAO and tax governance issues at board level. You must also be fluent in Spanish.
