Transfer Pricing Tax Manager
Position Objective:
This position is for a Transfer Pricing Tax Manager, reporting directly to the Tax Director. The Manager will support the Global Tax compliance function. Responsibilities include overseeing transfer pricing maintenance and analysis, supporting income tax audits and compliance with BEPS actions.
The position has a global scope, requires strong analytical and reconciliation skills, dependability, organization skills with accurate attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
Contributes to the success of the company by providing timely and accurate work products that meet or exceed expectations.
Supports the day to day Corporate Tax activities on a Global basis.
Manages own and others time on multiple Tax assignments, working effectively with others within the team and communicating progress and results.
Interacts effectively with other members of the Tax Department in Europe and the United States, together with external advisors.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing team of 2 tax analysts
Efficient retrieval of data from the company’s various financial systems (including Oracle E1, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, SAP and Cognos EDW), in order to perform various transfer pricing analyses and tax audit support, covering multiple business divisions
Ensuring compliance with international tax and transfer pricing regulations in various countries in light of the increasingly diverse and challenging commercial, regulatory and tax environment
Ensure that legal entity profit results fall within arm’s length ranges through management of intercompany transfer prices
Leading responses to tax audit information requests from tax authorities and tracking changes in government regulations with respect to global transfer pricing
Support, run, and review various transfer pricing models and calculations such as royalty and cross border expenses
Training and developing team members in APAC and EMEA and training accounting
Preparation and review of transfer pricing markups
BEPS: Supporting the implementation of Country by Country Reporting and Transfer Pricing Master File/Local Files
Responsible for reviewing intercompany royalties and cross border expense
Support transfer pricing of new acquisitions and business integrations
Support business projects and changes to supply chain flow for multiple divisions
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics minimum requirement. Qualified Accountant preferred.
Experience/Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing
Experience in working large volumes of data with strong Excel and other database skills
Knowledge of ERP and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Cognos, EDW and Hyperion preferred)
Experience in people leadership
