About you
This is a unique opportunity if you are a Solution Architect with VAT knowledge willing to join a well-established, progressive software firm. Your main task will be to perform system analysis to transform business requirements into analysis and design requirements as defined by the product managers, subject matter experts, or customers with minimal direction. Based on this analysis, you will create technical specifications, analysis and design artifacts that are used as the basis for the construction, and implementation of enterprise business and software solutions. You will be the interface between IT and the client.
The requirements
Strong analytical skills to allow for the interpretation and determination of application needs
Advanced knowledge of relational database designs and the related modelling and implementation tools to enhance analysis and design artifacts
Experience in several analysis methods (Procedural, Object Oriented, Joint Application Development, and Rapid Prototyping) with specific recent experience in object-oriented analysis methods
Familiarity with web-based application analysis and design techniques and technologies
Working knowledge of relational database concepts and the related modelling and query tools (i.e., SQL, Cognos).
10 years exp. in technical solution design.
