My client is a global firm with a growing US Tax Services team in Bermuda. My client is looking for an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to oversee a team of Bermuda-based professionals providing U.S. tax services to entities in the financial services industry, with a focus on investment funds. Serving a variety of clients in the investment fund industry, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and other collective investment structures.
You will be given exposure to a range of clients across multiple sectors and for the right person a pathway to Director level will be supported.
Ideally professional requirements:
7+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
CPA designation.
Experience in the U.S. domestic tax provisions and working with partnership tax issues.
Experience in the international tax provisions applicable to financial services entities and related tax compliance and information reporting provisions preferred.
(May consider candidate with some knowledge and/or desire to learn investment fund tax technical areas).
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team/project management skills.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Experience managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence and billing.
