JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Payroll Tax Analyst will:
Coordinate efforts to compile documents supporting internal audit, IRS, State, Local and Department of Labor audits and inquiries
Handle frequent communications with a high degree of capability in representing company positions on filing, deposit and amendment activity with Federal and State auditors, Finance, HR and Treasury
Assist with other payroll / tax duties, as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of experience in major Payroll Processing Operation
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Deep knowledge of Payroll Federal, State and Local taxation and associated funding rules, filing requirements, amendment requirements, and accounting concepts
Understanding of policies and taxation governing Compensation programs and Benefit deductions
Working knowledge of SAP HR, ADP Ev5, ADP Reporting tools and large scale tax reporting systems, such as PeopleSoft or ADP FACS
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills
Certified Payroll Professional designation or equivalent
