If you are newly qualified or partly qualified candidate with experience in partnership tax, this is an excellent opportunity to move to an in-house role in private practice for a leading law firm.
This role will be varied and challenging, with a mix of partnership tax and corporate task, but equally touching on partners tax affairs, VAT and employment taxes.
My client is looking for a progressive and commercial individual who can grow into the role, as such having all the skill sets is something the Head of Tax is happy to help someone develop and is not a pre-requisite.
In this role you will learn the following responsibilities:
* Preparation of the partnership tax computation for the UK LLP, incorporating its European branches.
* Handling UK corporation tax compliance for the firm's service company and other corporate entities.
* Facilitating our international entity and partner tax filings through provision of underlying information and analysis to our external tax advisers.
* Assisting with our UK partners' tax affairs through ownership of a small portfolio; includes responsibility for preparing tax returns and dealing with ad hoc advisory matters.
* Supporting the Head of Group Tax in the calculation of the firm's annual management charge and ensuring that it is compliant from a Transfer Pricing perspective.
* Assisting the Head of Group Tax with ad hoc projects including new office openings and restructuring.
