Private Client Tax Consultant, Worcestershire

Providing international and UK clients, which include a number of well-known and high profile actors, producers and directors, with a range of professional services, the team is seeking the services of a Private Client Tax Consultant for the Film team.

This is a very rare opportunity to develop existing and new skills with a focus on the entertainment sector, with a business that can also provide further career progression.

Prior experience in this niche area is not essential, as training will be provided, and good personal tax practitioners should be able to handle the transition in this role without difficulty.

The role in brief:

Preparing applications to HMRC for clients entering the UK

Assisting in advising clients on structuring their involvement in film projects

Reviewing the implications of tax laws in other jurisdictions relevant to a project

Assisting in advising on contractual matters from a tax perspective

Preparing tax forecasts and completing the UK Tax Returns for clients

Researching future projects and active involvement in generating new work

About you:

Two or more years of private client tax experience gained within a tax department. No prior experience of film taxation issues is required

ATT qualified, part qualified or receptive to training for the ATT

Able to meet very high standards in client service including an ability to react quickly to requests

Ability to multi-task and a willing attitude to taking on challenges and learn new technical areas

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
