Audit Senior Manager, Reading

Simpson Booth are representing a professional services firm in Reading that is looking for an Audit Senior Manager to join their Practice. This role would suit an ambitious audit professional looking for progression, either already in Reading or willing to relocate.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a client portfolio, building and maintaining relationships with both clients and colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of audits In addition, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Be the principle point of contact for clients, providing advice as required
• Manage audits with regards to timescales, budget and risk management procedures
• Deal with technically complex clients and be comfortable doing so with minimal partner input
• Manage multiple audit teams and ensure they are completing work to business standards
• Act as a point of reference for technical and sector knowledge covering IFRS and UK GAAP as well as listed company experience
• Maximise client satisfaction through quality work and excellent relationships
• Utilise and built a personal network in order to develop and maintain existing relationships and business through a structured and professional approach
• Manage, motivate and coach team members
• Adhere to the firm’s risk management policies and procedures and comply with company best practice

Candidate Profile and qualifications:

• Professionally qualified to ACA, CA or ACCA.
• Post qualification experience working within practice
• Ambitious and driven personality
A genuine interest in delivering an excellent service to clients.
