JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Manager will:
• Be responsible for reviewing and managing the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns, fiduciary tax returns and accountings for estates and trusts
• Resolve issues pertaining to the administration of trusts and estates
• Interface with attorneys in the firm, bank officers and other counsel on issues concerning the administration of trusts and estates, fiduciary accounting and tax matters
• Supervise the work of fiduciary tax accountants
• Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 5+ years of experience specializing in Trust and Estate taxation
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
• Polished and professional demeanor
