UK domestic and international corporate tax has changed rapidly over the past few years.

For example, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD's) base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project will impact all UK businesses with international operations. Even purely UK domestic businesses might be affected.

Successive Budgets have also changed the foundations of the UK tax system. With the pace of change showing no signs of slowing, business needs to stay ahead of the curve. However, building and growing a business in such a complex tax environment can be difficult. At Grant Thornton, we're here to help out clients.

• you'll build an understanding of the potential for selling into clients and intermediaries

• you'll seek to participate in business development opportunity and works with partners and managers to promote the firm's tax expertise and other services to clients and target clients both internally and externally

• you'll engender trust and respect from the client by producing high quality tax advice accurately, delivering to expectations, responding quickly to client demands and delivering to deadlines

• you'll be responsible for planning and performing tax consultancy assignments and providing advice

• ensures compliance with internal procedures including the completion of client take-on and keeps partners and managers informed of progress on each job

• you'll mitigate risks by involvement of senior team members and ensures appropriate advice is sought takes steps to minimise professional risk, including the appropriate documentation of services provided.

• you'll demonstrates sufficient technical knowledge to supervise relevant area of work and seek solutions to any technical issues, as well as developing your knowledge

• you'll mentor and coach executives and builds the respect of peers and subordinates
