Change Recruitment Group are working with a leading Big 4 firm in Ireland to assist them grow their Indirect Tax team with VAT Seniors and Managers. This role will be based in Dublin and is an excellent opportunity to utilise your European VAT knowledge in one of the most buoyant economies in Europe.

Key responsibilities include:
· Responsible for a portfolio of both Irish and international clients
· Liaising with clients and advising on all relevant VAT issues including interacting with Revenue on clients behalf
· Responsibility for training and mentoring trainees
· Providing VAT support to Directors and Partners on tax advisory and tax compliance projects
· Preparing detailed research on VAT technical issues
Requirements:
· A relevant tax, legal or accountancy qualification
· Superb technical skills and detailed knowledge of Irish and European VAT legislation and case law. Applicants who are general tax professionals and interested in specialising in VAT will also be considered
· Drive in relation to service delivery and strong commercial awareness
· Minimum of three years in a professional Tax/VAT environment, preferably gained from a Big 4 / Top 10 environment
· A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
