Trust and Tax Manager, Ranked Firm, London

This is a ranked firm with a successful tax practice and a proven history of growth. The tax fees have seen double digit growth in the last few years and the firm have invested in the tax practice by bringing on senior hires with the ability to generate further business.

The tax partner would like to recruit a manager with the ability to advance to senior manager. The role will be a mixture of private client tax and trusts and would be ideal for a trust manager who wants to deal with private client tax work, in addition to the trust work. This is a great opportunity for a trust manager to ‘future proof’ their career by increasing their private client tax work.

Some aspects of the role:

•Manage a complex portfolio of personal tax and trust clients for a range of family trusts and estates with UK and offshore issues.
•Advice on capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning.
•Take responsibility for junior staff and act as a mentor figure.
•Support an experienced private client and trust partner with work.
•Support business development

What will you need to qualify?

You will need to be a commercial individual with excellent client handling skills. You will also need the ambition and ability to advance. This is not a role for ‘techy’ although you will need a proven track record.
