Associate / Senior Associate - Contentious tax.

A nationally renowned law firm is seeking to appoint an Associate/ Senior Associate to join the exceptional team of tax disputes experts. As a firm with a robust contentious tax practice both in London and across other areas of the UK, they are now looking to further strengthen their presence in the market through hiring a tax disputes professional to join their London team.

Although a large degree of work completed in this field is reactive, this firm takes a proactive approach with clients and you will not only be tasked with assisting clients in their inquiries and investigations by the tax authorities, but also with developing risk profiles and predicting potential reactions from HMRC. This role sits within the contentious tax team, but offers the prospect of collaboration with colleagues in business tax and private client, identifying key issues that may lead to tax disputes. This is opportunity offers the prospect of deepening your experience in investigation-led work as well as strengthening your tax technical skill set.

In order to take advantage of this unique opportunity, you be ACA/ CTA/ or legally qualified with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of working with/for HMRC.
