'Analysis of production of capital allowances relief claims
'Carry out sufficient and appropriate entitlement checks
'Carry out effective property surveys in line with HMRC/VOA guidelines
'Prepare and manage workloads within time frames and deadlines
'Manage budgets per client and work within parameters
'Assist and develop the technical knowledge of Business Development team and fellow colleagues
'Competently handle all complex and demanding technical queries from both clients and their advisers
'Maintain client relationships, where applicable, and debrief capital allowances reports with clients.
'Maintain tax knowledge to changes in legislation
'Involvement in the reviewing and analysis of new tax legislation
'Application of tax knowledge to identity tax opportunities for clients to provide them with added value
'Ensuring all HM Revenue and Customs enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
'Interaction with key client management team to gather information and solve issues arising and proactively make recommendations
'Minimum of 3 years' experience (necessary) within a property / real estate department with exposure to capital allowances. (Minimum of 5 years' experience is preferred).
'Professionally qualified in a property capacity (i.e. RICs is preferred)
'Ideally qualified in a tax capacity also - ATT (necessary) or CTA (preferred)
'Must have an established tax knowledge skill set and the ability to consistently maintain the knowledge acquired
'Must have the ability to manage their own workload and take ownership
'Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
'Excellent verbal and written communication skills
'Problem solving abilities and strong attention to detail and organisational skills
'Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
